Picspam: SG-1 recast

Okay, I totally didn't plan on doing the recast challenge at [livejournal.com profile] stargateland .  I do NOT pay attention to celebrities.  It really doesn't interest me so I had no idea who to cast.  But I was bored and I said if I found time I'd try to get it done.  This was just totally for fun and in no way do I think any of these actors could replace any SG-1 stars.  These are so totally random.  I was kind of glancing at the shelves full of movies and wondering who I could recast and these people popped out at me.

The Rock as Teal'c.  Hey, he can already do the eyebrow.  Not sure the Rock could play a straight face, though.

Haha, Topher Grace as Daniel Jackson...he's got the geek thing going on and doesn't look half bad in glasses.

Collin Ferguson as Jack O'Neill.  He's got the ruggedly good looks and can pull of the comedy.

"Wrastlin'" That's what my gramma called it. I remember watching Undertaker when he first started back in the day. Only because my brother was into it and we only had one TV. I remember there was this kid in my 6th grade class, Miguel, that did a spot on impression of Randy Savage giving an interview. It was hilarious.

[and on a related note, my husband's oldest nephew used to do an impression of Austin that was so perfect you couldn't tell the difference if you were listening from the next room. they took him to a RAW event in KC when he was like 7 and actually ran into Austin but James was too terrified to do his impression. he said he was a afraid Austin would kick his ass. he can't do it anymore now that he's 19]

My husband got me actually watching when we got together in 1999. The Rock and Austin were the best. Things just weren't the same after they left. Neither of us watch anymore but it was so much fun to watch the DVDs and remember the good times.

And I love the Rock's movies. It cracks me up that he can go from the cocky, catchphrase spewing badass on WWE to an action role to a serious drama roll to a hit making kiddie movie star. That's pretty versatile. The Tooth Fairy movie was hilarious.
