Exploring is one thing I never got to do as a kid that I always wanted to do. We drove up to Michigan every year and I always wanted to stop and look around but there was never time.
Now we go all over just to look around. I'm sure eventually we'll get up to Seattle (probably once the kids are out of school) and drive through the mountains towards Yakima. And I'm sure we'll drive all the way down the coast into California. We followed the Pacific Coast Highway from Tillamook to Newport yesterday. There are some gorgeous views.
We're thinking of camping our way down the coast one summer when my husband can get off. Probably won't get all the way to LA but we could get well into California.
