[12] 100 Reasons to Keep Living [12]

[12]

The view from the walking path on the Columbia River in town.  Ignore the sewage treatment plant and stuff at the bottom.  That view makes my blisters, sore back and aching feet worth it.  On a clear day like this it's so beautiful.  You get a view similar to this at the park down the street and can just see the top of the mountain from our back yard.

OMG This is beautiful! I can see some of the hills up north from my bedroom but there is a lot of houses in front of it and they aren't as striking as this! You're so lucky! ^-^

Some of the views around here are breathtaking. Especially on a really clear day. You can see for miles and miles and the mountains are so clear you can almost feel the snow. I'm going to take my camera next time to get some real pictures because the one on my phone just doesn't do it justice.

My area is pretty built up but depending on where you are some of the views are nice. Nothing compared to actually going up north and being in amongst the mountains. ^-^

You must post the pictures when you do take them though!

I should have sent more subliminal messages to move out here. *shifty eyes* My brother moved out here in 1998 when he started college. I couldn't figure out why he'd suffer being a homeless, jobless vagrant for most of the past 14 years until I actually moved her.

I would have done anything to stay, too. He actually just moved closer to me and now lives outside of Portland. Portland seems to have a higher tolerance for vagrants, lol. Their motto, after all, is "Keep Portland Weird."
