Analyze this!

According to Goggle Analytics almost 19% of visitors to my LJ were referred by daniel-vala.livejournal.com

I think I have [livejournal.com profile] campylobacter to thank for that with all her great reccing she does.

And I'm not even a Daniel/Vala writer.  Although I'm sure you guys will change that pretty soon.  Most popular page: Just the Beginning.

I swear I'm a Jack/Sam writer.  I swear it.

You Daniel/Vala readers are the best, though.  I've gotten more great reviews and support on those two stories than on just about anything else I've written.  Thanks so much.

Never underestimate the power of an LJ community! :D

I've worked hard to make connections among discrete sectors of the LJ Stargate fandom by participating in the various het, slash, Gen, graphics, podcast, vidder etc. comms. I'm so stoked that [livejournal.com profile] spiletta42 's troll and my discovery of the Sam/Jack pairing fandom have led to MOAR FRENDZ and more exposure for you. :D

Because the SG franchise is officially "closed", it's vital that old 'ship war wank be laid to rest as fan numbers dwindle and shift to "open" canon fandoms.

I'm still constantly amazed at the depth of the Stargate community here on LJ with all the comms and great people. I've had a LJ since 2005 but never really used it and not for posting my fanfic. Not until last December. I started writing SG-1 fic and saw this huge community of writers here because I was reading their stuff so figured I'd play along.

Commented on a few things, filled out a friend meme and BAM. I used to spend most of my online time at this site for moms or on facebook. Now I'm here 90% of my time.

I'm going to be so lost without my internet. WAH!!!!!!

Argh I so wish I could buy you at least a dialup account so you can check email and surf with images off when the cable company cuts off your access. :(

Oh no... you know what's even worse?

Our home phone is through the internet so once it's gone I'm effectively cut off from civilization since the cells don't work in the house. If there's an emergency I would have to walk a couple blocks away and HOPE to get a signal long enough to call 911.

email.

I'll send you my address. Needing to access my email will be an excuse to go for a walk every day. I at least get that through my phone (when I can get a signal). And the twitter thing is working. I got like 10 texts from twitter. But they only come through when I get to random 1 bar. But it's something. I haven't used my twitter much since I got on facebook (which is where all my family is). I can't check facebook on my phone, though. :(

Ouch! So frustrating for you!

Because there's just so much sqee-y goodness with Daniel and Vala... and oh so many stories left to tell!

You keep writing it, honey, and we'll keep on reading, adoring, and tossing rose-riddled feedback at you. Oh, and possibly cookies!

Smooches :)

Thanks. I'm setting a goal to write at least one Daniel/Vala fic while I'm offline. Not sure what I'll write about, though.
