my family

Apparenly, not only did my dad go to my family reuion but he also took his camera which he has barely used in the 12 years since my mom died.

My Family

It's only a small portion of the family but it was great to see them all together.  There is no way I could even name anyone in this picture.  There are so many little kids in the family again.  It's great to see.

No, I didn't get to go. The reunion is held in Michigan and I live in Washington State. It's too far for me to travel even if I fly free. It's too hard to get free seats for all 7 of us (even just me and the kids). And I'd at least have to take Jack but he doesn't have rider privileges because of red tape so he doesn't fly free.

Maybe next year. If they have one. This was the first one we had in 5 years. Before that we had them every single year since the early 70s (before I was born).

Ah alright. I was looking and I was like Oh God I'm horrible I have no idea if she's here lol.

Finger crossed for next year.

I really wanted to go, seeing as I haven't visited with any of these people in 5 years. Maybe, if we can get at least 2 tickets, me and Jack can go. None of them have ever met Jack and my dad hasn't seen him since he was 3 weeks old (he'll be 3 next summer).

It's really hard to use our free passes in the summer, though. All the flights out of Portland are completely booked. Maybe if we drive up to Seattle or something. Sigh.

Sounds like a plan! But that's a bit of a drive. Could be a nice bonding experience type of thing.
