Fifteen Years

Fifteen years ago today, I got married. During a time when many marriages don't make it past five years, we've gone a decade and a half. Sometimes I'm amazed we made it this long.

The other night, I was thinking about five years from now. How we'll be celebrating our 20th anniversary. A few years ago I would have said it wouldn't happen because we were ready to kill each other, but now I can't imagine not being together. It also hit me that in five years the kids will be 19, 18, 17, almost 14, and 9. Yikes. Owen graduates high school in 2020.

Thanks. I'm not sure if we're doing anything. Last year we went and saw a movie which was a big treat. We have this really cool theater that has cushy arm chairs where they deliver food and beer right to your seat.

We're pretty broke, though, and I have no idea what is showing. Will probably end up going to Applebees or something. No gifts, though. I don't think we've ever exchanged gifts for our anniversary.

Congrats again. 15 years is fantastic :D I hit my 10 year this May.

Boggles the mind sometimes when you realize how much you've gone through with one person right? :)
