dishes, laundry and swollen ankles
3 Oct 2005 10:47 pmThat pretty much describes my day today. I got up around 9 and had to feed the kids because Patrick was ignoring them. Then I had like three days of dishes to do including the baking stuff from Owen't birthday. That took me over an hour and I didn't do the big pans or the slow cooker. After that I gathered up the laundry and took a basket over to the laundromat. Patrick finally decided to get up and carried the other basket.
Then I remembered Meagan had to have her Holiday orders in so I hurried and filled that in before she had to catch her bus at 11:30. Then loaded the washers (cost $5.50). Then I went home and had lunch (it was 11:45 by then and I hadn't eaten yet). Then it was back to put the stuff in the dryer, then folding it all. I got it all done just before Patrick had to leave for work so he could carry the one basket home. Ugh, I'm tired and I have a horrid headache.
And on top of that my ankles are swelling like crazy. By the end of the day they hurt so bad I can barely walk. Sometimes I wonder why I wanted to have another baby. I guess I forgot to mention that, huh? I haven't posted since June when we moved. We just got our internet turned on last week. I forgot how nice it was to be connected to the world.
I'm almost 13 weeks now--due April 12. After I had Brenna I said if I ever had another I wanted a Spring baby so I wouldn't have to pregnant over the summer again. I wanted Brenna to be 2 when the next one came but we are a year late. No biggie. She'll be 3 next month and is excited to be a big sister.

I haven't done any writing since June. I've just been to wore out with dealing with the move and the kids and everything. I do have a fanfic story in mind. It's a T7S one, of course. The whole idea was to have the gang kind of switch partners. It's probably been done a dozen times but.... I also have ideas on how to continue "Homecoming," but I just can't seem to get a handle on it like I did over the summer. Maybe after the new season starts I'll be more inspired.
