uh-oh...deadlines

But now I have a bunch of writing to do. The ideas are in my head but every time I try and write them down I draw a blank.
I have 4 challenges do this week. I have to write a TV Tropes story at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
stargateland due later today. None of the random tropes I got have inspired me. :(
Then there's a prompt due forstargateland tomorrow. The prompt is easy enough ("new") but I can't seem to write anything.
I also have a challenge due forwriterverse tomorrow. I haven't really participated in any challenges but this is the one I was looking forward to so I have to write 500 words for it. Then I'm running a drabble challenge due on Saturday. Thinking maybe I should participate in one of my own challenges, lol.
It's not helping that my brain is buzzing with all sorts of random ideas that have nothing to do with these challenges. I signed up to dofivetimesbb. I think I know what I want to write but so far nothing has gone down on paper. Plus I signed up for hc_bingo last summer but didn't write anything for it so I wanted to do them all for amnesty. I came up with ideas for almost every square on my card but haven't written anything. Grrr.
Plus I promised myself I'd finish one WIP every month this year. I have way too many unfinished stories from last year and want to work on some of them.
I think the problem is I have way too many ideas in my head and can't untangle them all. I need to focus on one thing. So today I'm going to make an effort to finish the tropes story. It only has to be 100 words or something. I can do that. I'm going to straighten up my room (so it's neat and calm) and then write the story then finish cleaning the rest of the house. I'm hoping this works otherwise I'll just have to skip that challenge. It's not a big deal. I really want to focus on thewriterverse story anyway because that's the one I really want to do.
Oh, and another problem: I now go to bed at a normal time (usually around 11pm). Before I was doing all my writing late at night after everyone was in bed. I was staying up until 1-2am most days then getting up for the day at 6:30-7am. Not sure how this year is going to go if I don't stay up late. I might not get any writing done. :(
