Eye of the Storm
Katara’s eyes darkened as storm clouds rolled in at an alarming rate.
No, Zuko realized, it was the other way around. The sky was definitely reacting to Katara’s ruined mood—the air sizzling with menacing energy.
“Katara, I’m sorry,” Sokka pleaded.
His sister’s gaze turned to him as several lightning bolts slammed into the sea, sending a shiver of fear down Zuko’s back. He took a step back, running into Toph.
“Remind me never to leave my dirty socks out where Katara can see,” she said.
Zuko nodded before retreating a safe distance from the beach and the doomed Sokka.
