Ok I seriously liked that. I've not read a lot of Daniel/Vala fic (in fact, this could actually be my first? maybe?) And I'm not generally a Daniel fan but dude, you made me want to go give him a squishy hug. Poor daniel.
I really liked the way you had his thoughts kinda nervous in his head as he was pacing, and I did lol when he sounded like Jack. I loved the line about him not being able to reach Sam and Jack being "mysteriously unavailable" too.
But mostly I just liked that you made me feel sad for Daniel.
I honestly can't find anything to be critical of, for the read & review challenge, so well done. :)
