jennickelsLast week, I binge-watched The 100. I'd seen the first four or five episodes when they aired a couple years ago, but my TV watching habits fluctuate, so I never continued, episodes got deleted from the DVR, and I hate being behind in a series. I really like the characters, and it's a sci-fi action show which means lots of story potential.
So I wrote fic (see post below). It's the first fanfic I've written in over a year.
I realized that this is the first fandom I've ever participated in that is currently airing other than That 70s Show when I first started writing fanfic in 2005 (show ended a year later). All of the other ones were done and over with by the time I started writing for them. It's interesting to get the urge to write a "what happens next" fic at the end of each new episode.
