My Episcopalian grandfather (born Catholic) married a Quaker, and they couldn't agree which church to bring up their children in, so the kids became agnostics.
My Methodist grandfather (decended from a cousin of Wesley himself) and my Episcopalian grandmother couldn't decide what church to bring their children in, so the kids became an Episcopalian (my aunt) and an agnostic (my dad).
My mom married a Moslem for her second marriage.
My dad's second, third, and fourth were Episcopalian, converted later to Judaism; Congregationalist-agnostic; and Episcopalian.
My husband's family used to be Northern Baptist missionaries, but now they are Congregationalists.
My husband and I are agnostics.
But every single very close friend I make and have made since childhood turns out to be Catholic. Must be the Irish Catholic blood in the veins, because my eldest converted... to Catholicism.
