This one I made for oneill_icontest.  I just liked the screencap and had no real idea what I was going to do with it.  I played around for awhile and got it like that.  Then I had to come up with some kind of caption because it needed words.  The beer said it all and I had to put it into military time.

This one I made for a book series I write fanfic for.  Julia Spencer-Fleming has a series of mystery books that take place in the fictional town of Millers Kill.  I needed an icon for when I posted stories.  Of course txduck already knows that.  She's the one that introduced me to the series.  I am eternally gratefull.

Sam and Jack are just... forever and always.  I think the cap is from one of the publicity stills from "200".  I wanted a different look, though so focused on the flowers instead of their faces.

This is one of my favorite icons and cracks me up every time.  Yes, that is a real kid and she's mine.  That's Meagan, my oldest taken in the summer of 2010 so she was 10 years old.  I have no idea what she was doing but I have like 15 pictures of her making weird faces.  This one just had to be an icon.

YAY, SGU.  I don't remember if I made this for a challenge of if I needed SGU icons.  Probably a challenge but I need more SGU icons.  I liked how the coloring turned out.  I use a plugin for Photoshop Elements to get that dreamy look to it.  I has a lot of neat filters and effects.  I use it on 90% of my icons.
