12 Pains of Christmas

I needed a laugh and remembered this song from my childhood. My dad has a twisted sense of humor so Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas was an instant classic in our house--played every year (don't think my mom much cared for it, though). This was my favorite song on the CD. These guys do a pretty funny interpretation of the song.
I relate so much to the poor schmuck and the lights. From about the time I was 15 it was my job to put the lights on the tree (and anywhere else I wanted them without killing myself--my dad fell off the ladder breaking his wrist and arm in several places putting up Christmas lights). It's such a freaking pain. Although I have few issues with them getting tangled because I put them back neatly when I take them down. I can't remember ever having to detangle lights. I'm that good. But it never fails, every year at least half the tree goes dark with the lights going wonky. Makes me want to pull my hair out. Or chuck the whole damn tree out the window.
