another weird kid show

jennickelsThe kids are watching Victorious. It's this show about a bunch of high school kids at some performing arts school. There's one character that is a ventriloquist. He always has his puppet and acts like the puppet is a real person and he has separation anxiety if he has to put the puppet down.
They make all sorts of jokes about it but if this kid were real he'd need intense psychotherapy for his issues. He's completely mental but they make a ton of jokes at his expense. And they enable him to continue with his craziness. The episodes had him and his puppet in "couple's counseling" because the puppet was bullying him. Talk about messed up.
I guess I'm a little touchy about mental illnesses lately.
And what's with every show portraying teen boys as incompetent morons? Oy. They're so predictable. I wish iCarly was on. At least that one if funny although there's the whole issue with Sam constantly bullying Freddie and Carly doing nothing to stop it. Actually, now we're watching the Snorks...total flashback.
