Six Sentences on Sunday

The anger finally bubbled over. He yanked the phone out of her hands, forcing her to look at him. "What, Carter? Did you expect me to wait around pining for you until you got bored or whatever it was that screwed up your marriage." He barely got the words out before he felt the sting of her hand connecting with his face. It hurt like a sonofabitch.

I've been rereading old fic. Like fic that was written when the show was still on. Fic from 2004! And it's all stuff I've read already.

I love to get Jack and Sam into a situation where she actually as an excuse to smack him. Maybe that's sexist, but sometimes he's such an ass. The whole scene leading up to my excerpt gives her the excuse. She does go back and try to apologize and expects to be written up. Of course Jack's response is that he deserved it so forget about it.

The story is finished and I've been editing it for a couple weeks now.

Nice. Stuff from when the show was still on tends to be the best/most nostalgic. Not always, but... you know. *shrug*

:P I'm sure there are many situations where that may happen.

Oh awesome. Let me know if you want some editing help or whatever. I've still got a few assignments left (one a wk for the next 3 wks), but can probably fit in some editing around that.
