just an update

jennickelsWell it is March 15. Tomorrow I have my 36 week apt. I should be in and out in like 20 minutes. Every thing has been fine so far and I expect nothing else. My c-section date is set so I will be having my baby in exactly 3 weeks. I can't wait.
Meagan doesn't have school on Friday so I asked dh if he would take me to Babies R Us. The closest one is like a 25 minute drive on the interstate and I don't really like driving on the highway much. Plus I want him there to help me pick out some stuff. I went through all of the baby clothes we have and there isn't much. I had about a dozen onsies in a neutral color (either yellow or white), 2 jammies and a snow suit. There were several piles of girls stuff but no newborn boy stuff. Owen never wore newborn size. He went right into 0-3 month and 3-6 month stuff when he was born.
But what I really want to pick up are some sheets for the bassinet, some changing pads and some recieving blankets. I guess I could make the blankets myself. I worked all day yesterday to get the 2 blankets I'm making finished. I'm almost done putting the tops together (there is one for a boy and one for a girl).
Things are really moving along here. I can't believe in 3 weeks we will have a new baby. A friend suggested Kyler for a boy's name and I think I really like it. For the other three I like Tyler Glen for a boy's name but never got to use it. Kyler Glen sounds good, too. Now to talk Patrick into it. He hates discussing names and went into this rant about how we will name the baby what he wants because, blah, blah, blah (I tuned him out at that point). Yeah, right. I have always named them what I want in the end. He can rant all he wants because I know in the end he will say "whatever you like, dear."
That's all that is going on here. Just counting down the days now. I'm getting really excited and really ready to get this kid out. I have been in so much pain. Last night my hip kept popping out of the socket as I walked. And I can barely roll over anymore in bed. I can't sleep and want to cry everytime I try to get up. It sucks. Just 3 weeks to go!
