Chapter 2:
As he worked his way around to the west side of the temple he continually counted Jaffa heads, making sure he could always see seven of them. He wasn't sure what they were doing. At first they seemed confused, wandering close to the cliff with the stairs. Then one took charge, getting the others back in line with a lot of yelling and gesturing. Jack might not understand the language but he knew a dressing-down when he saw one. Now they were spreading out, securing their position, collecting supplies. Looking for survivors.
