more heat complaining

jennickelsIt's currently 9:50am here and it's already 83F.
It would have been the perfect day to get up early (we were all up by 8am), pack up and head for the coast. There were 5 votes for it and 1 against. So, of course, we aren't going because the vote against was Patrick's and we only do what he wants when he wants to do it. If it's something everyone else wants to do we just have to get over it. Sigh.
Instead I'll be baking in the 100+ degree heat with nothing to do.

Date: 16 Aug 2012 06:07 pm (UTC)Currently 86F at 11am. Just got my main chores done for the day. Now I'm stuck sitting in my room another day watching TV in the dark because it's too hot in the rest of the house (to keep my room cool I have to keep the blinds closed and the lights off).
I finished my Buffy rewatch in record time because of the heat. It's all I did yesterday--like 7 episodes.
Now I'm onto Angel, I guess.
