#1: People talking on their phones at the fucking LIBRARY!

SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH, I'm trying to study.

The library is not the place to hang out and chat on your phone for an hour.

GO TO HELL! Go straight to hell. To the level with the child molesters and people that talk at the theater!

update:
I ended up having to leave the library because it was too NOISY!!!!
WTF is up with that. When did libraries become social destinations? People talking on the phone, people having book club meetings, no one speaks quietly. They're just hanging out like it's the fucking mall or something. The bitch on the phone was quiet for maybe an hour then she started calling people to complain about something and was arguing with whoever was on the phone, demanding to speak to a manager. Da fuq? Then a group of 4 sat about 10 feet from me to have their book club. They were all older people so they were talking loudly to hear each other. By that point I was nearly in tears, so I left. I can get more done at home.

I should have stayed at Shari's where I went for lunch. It's really sad when a busy restaurant is quieter than the library.

I've noticed that too - people don't even try to be quiet anymore! When did that happen? I often find it easier to work at Starbucks than at the library, and that just doesn't seem right. It's extremely annoying!

Best of luck finding a quiet place to get work done!

I was there on Friday around 12:30-1pm. I try and go before school lets out because after there are a lot of kids around (on Wednesdays the schools around here get out early so I have to go in really early).

I often go to a coffee shop in Vancouver which is closer than the library. That's where we had meet-ups during NaNo last year. Sometimes it can be really busy and noisy which is why I started going to the library.

Yesterday I ended up going back to Shari's and had breakfast while I worked. It was surprisingly empty on a Saturday. When the waitresses heard I was doing homework they were like, "just take your time sweetie, don't worry about it." Then they kept filling my tea.

If I had more money I'd go there more often.
